“The knowledge of our own being is not only the most profound knowledge possible but also the most precious. It is the source of the peace and happiness for which all people long above all else, and is the foundation for the resolution of all conflicts.” Rupert Spira
Rupert Spira teaches the Non-Dual understanding. “Non-duality is the recognition that underlying the multiplicity and diversity of experience there is a single, infinite and indivisible reality, whose nature is pure consciousness, from which all objects and selves derive their apparently independent existence. The recognition of this reality is not only the source of lasting happiness within all people; it is the foundation of peace between individuals, communities and nations, and it must be the basis for any sustainable relationship with the environment.” (Taken from www.rupertspira.com)

Key Rupert Spira Takeaways
We find Spira’s non-dualist view of consciousness fascinating. To us, it makes sense of all the different religions and philosophies by teaching that essentially we are all consciousness expressed in different forms. Spira teaches us that every single thing that exists in the universe and beyond is made of consciousness. It teaches us that we are not our minds or our bodies, we merely use these as tools to perceive – it is our true nature, consciousness, that is aware of these sensory perceptions.
